The following traffic and parking regulations pertain to the Westwood Junior/Senior High School which is located at 701 Ridgewood Road in the Township of Washington.
A. 
Parking prohibited. No person shall park or leave standing a vehicle, whether attended or unattended, at any time on the areas of the Westwood Regional High School as delineated on the sketch map published herewith[1] and which are marked and posted by sign according to law. No vehicle shall park in any area of the Westwood Regional High School except in a parking stall that is designated by pavement markings.

B. 
One-way streets. The areas, streets or parts of streets described as follows are hereby designated as one-way in the direction indicated:

No exit from the student parking lot shall be permitted west to east onto Ellen Place.

(3) 
The entrance to the High School site shall be one-way north to south from Ridgewood Road by way of the west entrance driveway.
(4) 
The exit from the High School site shall be one-way south to north by way of the exit driveway.
(5) 
One-way for the area beginning at the northwest corner of the High School west to east and then north in front of the High School for a distance of 695 feet to Ridgewood Road coinciding with the area shown as "no parking" for a distance of 695 feet.
C. 
Reserved spaces.
(1) 
No person shall park a motor vehicle in a parking space or area upon the premises of the Westwood Regional High School unless assigned that space by the Principal of the High School or his duly authorized representative.
(2) 
Upon the written complaint of the Principal of the Westwood Regional High School or his duly authorized representative, a motor vehicle summons will be issued by a member of the Township of Washington Police Department.
(3) 
Any motor vehicle illegally parked in an unauthorized or prohibited area may be towed away at the owner's expense upon the authorization of the Principal of the Westwood Regional High School or his duly authorized representative.
D. 
Driving or parking on lawns or practice fields prohibited.
(1) 
No vehicle shall drive or park upon the lawns, practice fields, grass or landscaped areas of the Westwood Regional High School.
(2) 
Exceptions. Westwood Board of Education vehicles, vehicles authorized by the Superintendent of Westwood Regional Schools or his duly authorized representative, police, fire, ambulance, paramedics and other emergency vehicles are excluded from the provisions of this subsection.
The following traffic and parking regulations pertain to the Washington School which is located at School Street in the Township of Washington.
A. 
There shall be no parking in the main entrance driveway of the Washington School from its point of origin, located on the south side of School Street east of Wayne Place, through its terminus at the point where it meets the east parking lot.
B. 
No vehicle shall park in any area of the Washington School except in a parking stall that is designated by pavement markings.
C. 
No vehicle shall drive or park on the playground area located on the southwest side of the Washington School.
D. 
No vehicles shall drive or park upon the lawns, grass or landscaped areas of the Washington School.
E. 
Exceptions. Westwood Board of Education vehicles, vehicles authorized by the Superintendent of Westwood Regional Schools or his duly authorized representative, police, fire, ambulance, paramedic and other emergency vehicles are excluded from the provisions of this section.
The following traffic and parking regulations pertain to the Jessie F. George School which is located at Palm Street in the Township of Washington.
A. 
No vehicle shall enter the exit driveway to the Jessie F. George School located on the north side of Palm Street, west of Walnut Street. Traffic shall exit this driveway from the north, in the teachers parking lot, and travel to the south, exiting onto Palm Street.
B. 
No vehicle shall exit the entrance driveway to the Jessie F. George School located on the north side of Palm Street, east of Walnut Street. Traffic shall enter this driveway from the south of Palm Street and travel north into the teachers parking lot.
C. 
No vehicle shall park in any area of the Jessie F. George School except in a parking stall that is designated by pavement markings.
D. 
No vehicle shall drive or park upon the playground area located on the northeast side of the Jessie F. George School.
E. 
No vehicle shall drive or park upon the lawn, grass, ball field or landscaped area of the Jessie F. George School.
F. 
No vehicle shall park on the north side of Palm Street (westbound lane) from the Jessie F. George School exit driveway to the corner of Beech Street from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on school days. No vehicle shall park on the south side of Palm Street (eastbound lane) from 535 Palm Street to the intersection with Walnut Street and continuing south on Walnut Street to the corner of Cypress Street from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on school days.

G. 
Exceptions. Westwood Board of Education vehicles, vehicles authorized by the Superintendent of Westwood Regional Schools or his duly authorized representative, police, fire, ambulance, paramedics and other emergency vehicles are excluded from the provisions of this section.
Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of a provision of this article, or any supplement thereto, shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $50 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both. All unauthorized vehicles shall be towed at the expense of the owner or driver. Any motor vehicle illegally parked in an unauthorized or prohibited area may be towed away at the owner's expense, upon authorization of the principal of the school or his duly authorized representative. The driver or owner of a vehicle that is responsible for damaging a lawn, practice field, ball field, grass or landscaped area shall be liable to make restitution for said damage to the Westwood Regional Schools Board of Education.
