This chapter shall be known as the "Games of Chance Licensing Law."
It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining the required license therefor, to conduct games of chance within the territorial limits of the Town of Woodstock, subject to the provisions of this chapter and the provisions of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law (known as the "Games of Chance Licensing Law").
Games of chance may be conducted on Sunday pursuant to this chapter and appropriate statutes and regulations.
This chapter shall be submitted for the approval of the electors of the Town of Woodstock, Ulster County, New York, at a special election and shall take effect after approval by a majority of the qualified electors of the Town of Woodstock voting thereon and upon filing with the Secretary of State of the State of New York and with the State Racing and Wagering Board.[1]
