It shall be unlawful for any person without
the expressed consent of the owner of the subject property to paint,
write upon, daub, scratch, blacken, caulk or otherwise injure with
paint or similar materials, or in any other way or manner deface any
building, house, dwelling, wall, fence, bridge, railing, pole, post,
lamppost, tree, treebox, street, sidewalk, driveway, fire hydrants
or any object on the public or private property, or the appurtenance
of such aforementioned, situated on or upon any street, highway, bridge,
road, public or private way, place or ground, either public or private,
in the City of Pawtucket.

Any person violating the provisions of this
article shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500 and shall complete
a minimum of 100 hours, up to a maximum of 500 hours, of community
service and shall make restitution to the property owner for the cost
to repair the property, at the property owner's option, repair and
restore the property to its original condition.
