It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell, offer for sale or have in his, her or its possession or custody for the purpose of sale any toy pistol, squib, skyrocket, firecracker, roman candle, fire balloon or other combustible fireworks or any article for the making of a pyrotechnic display in the Borough of Sayre.
No person shall fire any gun or pistol within the limits of the Borough of Sayre, except for authorized law enforcement officials in the discharge of their official duties; provided, however, that upon approval by the Borough Council, the Chief of Police may issue a written permit for the discharge of firearms.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate or fail to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, be imprisoned for a term not exceeding 30 days.
