The purpose of this chapter is to authorize certain public servants
of the Town of Plattekill to issue and serve appearance tickets in connection
with violations of state statutes, local laws, ordinances or rules and regulations
of the town which said public servants are authorized or required to enforce.
The Building Inspector(s), Deputy Building Inspector(s), Assistant Building
Inspector(s), Zoning Officer(s), Deputy Zoning Officer(s), Dog Warden, Local
Law Enforcement Officer(s) and Deputy Local Law Enforcement Officer(s) are
hereby authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets with respect to violations
of a state statute, a local law, ordinance, rule or regulation of the Town
of Plattekill that such public servants are required or authorized to enforce.
Specific areas of enforcement are fire prevention and building construction,
dogs and other animals, the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Plattekill and
all other zoning or planning regulations relating to the health, safety or
welfare of the occupants of any building or of persons subject to the use
of property within the town.
The above listing of public servants is intended to and does include
those positions presently in existence and, additionally, such said designated
positions as may subsequently be created by the Town Board of the Town of
Plattekill.
