The office of Township Manager is hereby established.
The Supervisors of Hamilton Township shall have the right at any time
to abolish the office of Township Manager by enactment of ordinance.
While said office exists, the Supervisors shall, by majority vote, appoint
one person to fill said office and shall from time to time, whenever there
is a vacancy, appoint one person to fill said office.
The Township Manager shall be subject to removal by the Supervisors
at any time by majority vote.

The powers and duties of the Township Manager shall be the administration
of all local government activities, including, but not limited to, general
administration, public works, road and bridge projects, personnel management,
finances and other duties and responsibilities as Supervisors may delegate,
excluding any legislative powers or duties of the Supervisors and specifically
excluding any responsibilities relating to the Police Department or the Zoning
Officer.
Compensation for the Township Manager shall be set by resolution of
the Board of Supervisors and paid out of the general fund of the Township.
The Township Manager shall give bond to the Township, with sufficient
surety, to be approved by the Supervisors, conditioned on the faithful performance
of Township Manager's duties.
