A. No person
or persons shall make or cause to be made any loud or boisterous noise
or disturbance to the annoyance of the peaceable residents nearby
or near to any public highway, street, sidewalk or way whereby the
public peace is broken or disturbed or the traveling public annoyed,
nor shall any person or persons create, make or engage in any riot
or violent assembly.
B. No noise
shall exceed a noise level of 60 decibels at the property line during
the hours of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
No person shall discharge any firearm, air rifle or spring gun
of any type whatsoever within 450 feet of any occupied building, except
as otherwise provided in the Game Law of Pennsylvania.
No person shall sell, use or discharge fireworks, firecrackers,
sparklers or other pyrotechnics in any public or private place except
as authorized by state law.
No person, except a public officer legally authorized to do
so, shall affix any show bill, placard, poster or other advertising
device upon any pole, tree or structure within the Township without
first obtaining the consent of the owner thereof.
No person shall fix, put up or erect upon the pavement, sidewalk,
curb or gutter in front of or along any dwelling house, store or other
building or premises any signboard, bulletin board or any obstruction
of any type whatsoever which will interfere with the complete and
full use, at all times, by the public of said pavement, sidewalk,
curb and gutter.
No person shall deface, disfigure, write upon or in any manner
cause to be placed upon any house or wall or building of any kind
whatsoever or any part thereof or upon fences or road signs any marks,
lines, figures, letters or caricatures of any kind.
No person shall falsely impersonate a police officer or any
other officer belonging to the Police Department of the Township;
nor shall any person, with the intention to deceive, use or imitate
any sign, signal or device thereof; nor shall any person obstruct
or resist any of said officers in the performance of official duty;
nor shall any person, in any manner, aid any prisoner in custody to
escape or to attempt to escape.
No person shall originate any false alarm of fire.
It shall be unlawful for any person, association of persons,
firms or corporations to dump, or cause to be dumped, any ashes, garbage,
rubbish, refuse, and any other refuse material upon highway, street
or other public or private way, or upon private or public property
in Brighton Township, or into any Brighton Township trash receptacle,
except such areas as may be designated by the supervisors of Brighton
Township for such dumping.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall,
upon conviction in a summary proceeding before a Magistrate District
Judge, be sentenced to pay a fine of $100 for the first offense, and
$200 for the second and each additional offense and, in default of
the payment of such fine and costs, shall suffer imprisonment in the
Beaver County Jail for a period not exceeding three days.
