It shall be unlawful for any person to burn rubbish of any kind, other than paper, paper goods, cardboard, leaves, weed cuttings, grass cuttings or brush, anywhere in the town except in a stove, furnace, incinerator or fireplace.
Leaves, weed cuttings, grass cuttings and brush may be burned in the open if properly piled fifteen (15) feet away from any structure and if attended; and provided, further, that this may not be done on a windy day.
No burning is allowed within three hundred (300) feet of any woodland, nor shall any burning be allowed during fire season as established by the State Fire Warden, until after 4:00 p.m.
No fire shall be built or allowed to burn on any street or sidewalk asphalt pavement.
