The Garfield Police Department is hereby authorized
to submit application fingerprint cards and receive state criminal
history record information from the Division of State Police, State
Bureau of Identification, for use in considering the suitability of
applicants for the following position, employment or licensure by
the City:
A. All applicants and members of City of Garfield:
(3) Fire Department and Garfield Volunteer Fire Companies.
(4) Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
(5) Police dispatch and all other civilian Police Department
employees.
B. All applicants and licensees for:
(1) Any class of alcoholic beverage license and employees.
(2) Tow truck operators and employees.
(4) Auctioneer, hawker, peddler, itinerant vendor, pawnbroker,
junk shop keeper and scavenger.
The Garfield Police Department is authorized
to submit a date of birth request form (SBI 212) and receive state
criminal history record information from the Division of State Police,
State Bureau of Identification, for use in considering the suitability
of City of Garfield applicants and employees for:
G. Fortune-tellers and similar vocations.
