The Garfield Police Department is hereby authorized to submit application fingerprint cards and receive state criminal history record information from the Division of State Police, State Bureau of Identification, for use in considering the suitability of applicants for the following position, employment or licensure by the City:
A. 
All applicants and members of City of Garfield:
(1) 
Police Department.
(2) 
Police specials.
(3) 
Fire Department and Garfield Volunteer Fire Companies.
(4) 
Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
(5) 
Police dispatch and all other civilian Police Department employees.
(6) 
School crossing guards.
B. 
All applicants and licensees for:
(1) 
Any class of alcoholic beverage license and employees.
(2) 
Tow truck operators and employees.
(3) 
Sale of motor vehicles.
(4) 
Auctioneer, hawker, peddler, itinerant vendor, pawnbroker, junk shop keeper and scavenger.
The Garfield Police Department is authorized to submit a date of birth request form (SBI 212) and receive state criminal history record information from the Division of State Police, State Bureau of Identification, for use in considering the suitability of City of Garfield applicants and employees for:
A. 
Municipal employees.
B. 
Amusement games license.
C. 
Bingo license.
D. 
Mobile food handlers.
E. 
Taxicab license.
F. 
Tattoo artists.
G. 
Fortune-tellers and similar vocations.
A. 
All applicants except police officers, Fire Department and company and volunteer ambulance shall pay to the City an additional fee of $50 for criminal history record information based upon fingerprint cards and a annual renewal fee of $35 for the same.
B. 
All applicants, except municipal employees, shall pay a fee of $35 to the City for criminal history records based on date of birth and a fee of $35 for annual renewal for the same.
