GENERAL REFERENCES
Municipal elections — See Charter, Article VI.
A. 
In addition to the three regular members of the Board of Supervisors of Elections, there shall be two substitute members.
B. 
The substitute members shall:
(1) 
Be appointed in the same manner prescribed in Section 601 of the Charter for the appointment of regular members; and
(2) 
Be subject to the same provisions governing the term, qualification and removal of the members of the Board.
C. 
In the event of the absence of a regular member or a vacancy in the office of a regular member:
(1) 
The Mayor, with the approval of Council, shall name the substitute to be activated for service; and
(2) 
A substitute member shall exercise the powers and duties of a regular member until the regular member returns or the vacancy is filled as prescribed in Section 601 of the Charter.

The Board of Supervisors of Elections may make all rules and regulations, not inconsistent with the Municipal Charter of the Town of Rock Hall or any other local or state law, necessary for the conduct of elections in the Town.
