There is hereby established a Planning Commission for the Town of Snow Hill, hereinafter referred to as the "Commission." Its territorial jurisdiction shall extend over the incorporated area of the Town of Snow Hill.
The Commission shall consist of five (5) members, each to serve for five (5) years or until his successor takes office, except that the terms of members first appointed are staggered such that the first appointed member serves for one (1) year, the second appointed member serves for two (2) years and the third appointed member serves for five (5) years.
All members shall serve with such compensation as the Mayor and Town Council deems appropriate and may be removed by the Mayor and Town Council for inefficiency, neglect of duty or malfeasance in office. All members shall be eligible for reappointment.
The Commission shall have all the powers, functions and duties provided for in the Annotated Code of Maryland, Article 66B, § 3.01.
