Anyone desiring to erect a satellite dish on either a fixed or movable foundation within the corporate limits of the town must first apply to the Planning Commission for a permit. Each application shall contain information as to the size and height of the dish and a site plan showing the proposed location. The Planning Commission shall review each application and approve or disapprove the same based upon its determination of the impact of such an installation on adjoining properties.

A. 
In areas which the Planning Commission determine to be primarily residential in character, no satellite dish may be located in a front yard, exceed four (4) feet in diameter, extend more than six (6) feet from a building if attached thereto or be over ten (10) feet above the ground in height.
B. 
In areas which the Planning Commission determine to be primarily commercial or industrial in character, except where the proposed installation is adjacent to a residential property, satellite dishes may be six (6) feet or less in diameter, may extend up to twelve (12) feet from a building if attached thereto and be up to twenty (20) feet above the ground in height.

A fee shall be established to be collected by the Planning Commission for each application filed.
The commercial cable company franchised by the Town of Snow Hill shall be exempt from this chapter.[1]
