The following standards and requirements shall be met with respect to the installation of water services lines and mains throughout the Village of Williamsville, Illinois:
A. 
Tracer wire is to be run in ditch directly above water main.
B. 
Tracer wire is to be brought up to the top of all valve boxes.
C. 
Tracer wire is to be run with all water services, as well as water main.
D. 
Water main ditch is to be staked out before installation.
E. 
Final grade must be established before installation.
F. 
Water main will be at least 42 inches below final grade and water services will be at least 36 inches below final grade in all areas. No exception.
G. 
Fire hydrants, valve boxes and curb stop boxes will all be set at proper grade.
H. 
An accurate record must be kept of all water services locations for as-built plans.
I. 
All tracer wires shall be tested and shown to be in good working condition.
The following standards and requirements shall be met with respect to the installation of sewer mains throughout the Village of Williamsville, Illinois:
A. 
Tracer wire will be run with all sewer mains and sewer services less than five feet deep.
B. 
Manholes will all be set at proper grade.
C. 
All tracer wires shall be tested and shown to be in good working condition.
Any person installing water service mains and lines and/or sewer mains in violation of this article shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $750 for each violation.
