Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:12-1,
a Board of Recreation Commissioners is hereby established and, pursuant
to said statute, the Board of Recreation Commissioners heretofore
appointed is continued.
The Board shall be governed by the provisions
of N.J.S.A. 40:12-1 to 40:12-8, and all other applicable statutes.

The Board shall consist of not less than three
nor more than seven persons who shall be citizens and residents of
the Borough of Totowa, and who shall serve without compensation.
The Mayor may, in his discretion, appoint the
members of said Board for the terms of three or five years, according
to the number appointed to comprise the Board. Vacancies shall be
filled for the unexpired term only, and members shall serve until
their respective successors are appointed and qualify.
