No person shall consume any alcoholic beverage in any public place, including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, streets, ways, parks, recreation areas and playgrounds, or in any place to which the public has a right of access, or private land or place without consent of the owner or person in control thereof, within the Town of Middleton, excepting such premises as may be duly licensed to serve alcoholic beverages, including licenses issued for the service of beer, wine or both for one day.
Each violation of this bylaw shall be punishable by a fine of $20.
