GENERAL REFERENCES
Streets and sidewalks — See Ch. 152.
Before the Village Board shall take any action
on any future offers of land for street purposes, the following requirements
must be met.
A.
Houses shall be erected and completed on 75% of the
lots adjoining said strip of land to be dedicated for street purposes,
with not less than a minimum of eight lots.
B.
Eight-inch sewer pipes shall be installed and completed
to points designated by the Village Water Superintendent. Pipe to
be used shall be concrete, with all joints cemented and oakumed.
C.
All water installations shall be completed and be
connected to such four-inch hydrants as the Village Water Superintendent
and the Village Board may designate.
D.
All highways shall be covered to a depth of eight
inches with crusher run gravel, or better.
E.
Hydrants shall be installed when deemed necessary
and at points indicated by the Village Water Superintendent.
F.
Gutters and drains shall be installed or provided,
none of which are to be connected to the Village sewer but are to
be conducted to a suitable destination which is subject to the approval
of the Village Water Superintendent.
G.
Survey map shall be filed in Madison County Clerk's
Office, in the Village Clerk's Office and with any state department
requiring the same.
H.
Deed and abstract of title, showing marketable title,
shall be furnished to Village and have approval of Village Attorney.
I.
All water and sewer installations shall comply with
and have state approval where required or deemed advisable.
J.
All buildings shall comply with Chapter 180, Zoning, and have approval of the Planning Commission and to comply with the State Building Code.
K.
Sidewalks, when and if installed, shall be adjoining
property owners' expense.
