Any retired officer or employee of this village, whether elected, appointed
or employed, having a minimum of 10 years service to the village shall continue
to receive the benefits of the health insurance contract for hospital, surgical,
medical and dental benefits in the same degree as if they were still an officer
or employee of the village. The entire cost of this benefit shall be borne
by the village. It is the intent of the Board of Trustees that the letter
and spirit of § 92-a of the General Municipal Law of the State of
New York, authorizing that this action apply to this article.
