The following curb cuts are permitted and permits may be granted upon application and payment of fees as noted. For the purposes of this section, "driveway" shall mean any impervious cover, any other portion of a lot that shall be used as off-street parking.
A. 
R-1 and R-2 zones:
(1) 
Any parcel in a R-1 or R-2 Zone may contain no more than a single driveway no more than 20 feet wide that may extend no farther than the garage. The driveway may contain a maximum curb cut of 10 feet for a one-car driveway or a maximum curb cut of 18 feet for a two-car driveway. There shall be a permit fee per curb cut.[1]

(2) 
A circular driveway and related curb cuts may not be installed without permission of the Board of Architectural Review, which may permit or deny such application on its discretion and in accordance with the Code. There shall be a permit fee per curb cut. Said fee shall be as set by the Board of Trustees by resolution of a majority vote of its members present at a Board meeting.
B. 
Multiple-dwelling zone:
(1) 
A maximum curb cut of 25 feet, including splays into each permitted vehicular entrance. A permit fee per lineal foot shall be paid. Said fee shall be as set by the Board of Trustees by resolution of a majority vote of its members present at a Board meeting.
C. 
All business zones.
(1) 
A maximum curb cut of 25 feet, including splays shall be permitted entering into permitted driveway. Curb cuts shall be separated from additional curb cuts by at least 50 feet. A permit fee per lineal foot shall be paid. Said fee shall be as set by the Board of Trustees by resolution of majority vote of its members present at a Board meeting.
D. 
Curb cuts on county roads. Permits shall be obtained from the county in addition to the Village of Cedarhurst. The size of curb cuts may not exceed the sizes noted herein for the various zones.

Application for variations from the requirements of the construction of sidewalks and curbs shall be brought before the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Any person violating any provision of this article shall be liable to a penalty set in accordance with Chapter 1, Article III, General Penalty.
