The provisions of this article shall apply except
when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other
traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or
official traffic control device.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule X (§
250-64), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XI (§
250-65), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XII (§
250-66), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XIII (§
250-67) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XIV (§
250-68) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XV (§
250-69) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The locations described in Schedule XVIII (§
250-72), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as taxi stands.

When official signs have been posted prohibiting,
restricting or limiting the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles
on any roadway in the Village, no person shall stop, stand or park
any vehicle in violation of the restrictions stated on such signs.
It shall be prohibited to park a vehicle of
any kind on property owned by the Village of Cedarhurst not specified
for parking pursuant to § 1640, Subdivision 16, of the Vehicle
and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
