A. 
Specific terms. For the purpose of these regulations, certain terms used herein are defined as follows:
BOARD or PLANNING BOARD
The Central Square Village Planning Board.

GENERAL PLAN
A comprehensive development plan prepared by the Planning Board pursuant to § 7-722 of the Village Law.

STREET
A way for vehicular traffic, whether designated as a street, highway, thoroughfare, parkway, throughway, road or however otherwise designated.
(1) 
ARTERIAL STREETS or ARTERIAL HIGHWAYSThose streets which are used primarily for fast and heavy traffic.
(2) 
COLLECTOR STREETSThose streets which carry traffic for minor streets to the major system of arterial streets and highways, including the principal entrance streets for circulation within such development.
(3) 
MINOR STREETSThose streets which are used primarily for access to the abutting properties.
(4) 
MARGINAL ACCESS STREETSThose minor streets which are parallel to and adjacent to arterial streets and highways and which provide access to abutting properties and protection from through traffic.
(5) 
ALLEYSThose minor streets which are used primarily for vehicular service access to the back or to the side of properties otherwise abutting on a street.
SUBDIVISION
The division of a single lot, tract or parcel of land or a part thereof into two or more lots, tracts or parcels of land, including changes in street lines or lot lines, for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of transfer of ownership or of building development. The term "subdivision" includes resubdivision.
VILLAGE
The Incorporated Village of Central Square, New York.
VILLAGE BOARD
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Central Square.
B. 
Other terms. All other terms as used herein shall be as defined in § 7-728 of the Village Law.
