Borough of Essex Fells, NJ Article VII Handicapped Parking

§ 10.16.110 Handicapped parking spaces established; violations and penalties.

A. There are hereby established the following handicapped parking spaces, which shall be utilized only by those persons to whom a handicapped permit has been issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles:

(1) On Roseland Avenue, a handicapped parking space in front of the Municipal Building.

(2) A designated handicapped parking space in the Municipal Building parking lot.

B. It shall be unlawful for any unauthorized vehicle to park in a space designated for handicapped parking on any private or public property within the Borough of Essex Fells.

C. Any person violating the terms of this section shall be subject to a fine of $100 for the first offense. For any subsequent offense of this section, a fine of at least $100 and up to 90 days of community service shall be imposed.
