The members of the Town Board of the Town of
Copake do hereby adopt the following absenteeism policy for the Town
Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and all other appointed Boards
of the Town of Copake.

If a member of a Board has three consecutive
unexcused absences from Board meetings or if a member has six consecutive
absences from Board meetings regardless of the reasons, the Town Board
may then hold a public hearing to consider the removal of such member
from the Board by reason of such absenteeism.
This policy shall take effect immediately, and
the Town Clerk shall notify the Chairman of all Boards by mail of
the adoption of this policy.
