The meanings and phrases used in this chapter shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
B. CURBLINE HOLIDAYS PUBLIC PARKING LOT
The following words and phrases are not defined in the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York and shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section for the purposes of this chapter:
The prolongation of the lateral line of a curb or, in the absence of a curb, the lateral boundary line of the roadway.
New Year's Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, together with such other holidays as may be established from time to time by the Town Board.
A parcel of land owned and/or leased by the Town or any public parking district established by the Town within which the parking of vehicles is regulated by signs.
