[Amended 4-10-1979 by L.L. No. 3-1979]
No persons or corporations shall keep within
the Village limits any live chickens, ducks, fowl, pigeons, poultry,
rabbits, hares or other animals, including dogs and cats, unless such
fowl or animals shall be securely kept in a run, yard or other structure
which shall be maintained in a sanitary condition and free from offensive
odors. Said fowl and animals, including dogs and cats, shall be kept
in such a manner that neighbors are not disturbed by their noises.
Animals will be cared for and protected against such lengthy outdoor
exposure as causes them to create disturbing noises for periods of
time which prevent working and other neighbors from securing sleep
necessary for their health and comfort. Particular attention shall
be given by animal owners that their animals be kept quiet and under
control at all times to avoid creation of noise.
The raising and keeping of live swine is prohibited
within the Village limits.
