This article should be known as the "Town of Dover Reimbursement for
Fire-Suppression Expenditures Law."
Where a homeowner or business owner of real property maintains fire
insurance which contains provisions that permit the reimbursement of expenditures
incurred by a municipality or a fire department in order to suppress a fire,
explosion or other hazard condition on said premises, the town may apply for
reimbursement of those expenditures to the full extent of the policy coverage
for said property.
