Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those streets described in Schedule I (§ 229-36), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the Village is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except that the speed limit for vehicles proceeding on or along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (§ 229-37), attached to and made a part of this chapter, shall be as indicated in said schedule.
No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of that indicated in Schedule III (§ 229-38), attached to and made a part of this chapter, in the areas described in said schedule.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV (§ 229-39), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule V (§ 229-40), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule VI (§ 229-41), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VII (§ 229-42), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as through streets. Traffic control devices shall be installed on each street intersecting the through street.
The intersections described in Schedule VIII (§ 229-43), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule IX (§ 229-44), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The lane locations described in Schedule X (§ 229-45), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as lane use reservations, and traffic shall move only as indicated.
A. 
Definitions as used in this section shall having the following meanings:
COMMERCIAL VEHICLE
Every type of motor driven vehicle used for commercial purposes such as in the transportation of goods, wares and merchandise; motor vehicles and coaches carrying or designated to carry passengers for hire; tractors and tractor trailer combinations, including trailers, semitrailers and emergency vehicles not operating in emergency or training modes.
B. 
The provisions of this section shall not be construed to prevent the delivery or pick up of merchandise or the furnishing of commercial services along or at premises abutting streets from which such vehicles are hereby or hereafter otherwise excluded, described in Schedule XI (§ 229-46), attached to and made a part of this chapter.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any commercial vehicle or other tractor, trailer or tractor-trailer combination having a gross weight in excess of three tons on any Village street, unless otherwise provided in Schedule XII (§ 229-47), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except for the purpose of making local deliveries on that street.
