[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Old Westbury 6-20-1977 by L.L. No. 4-1977; amended in its entirety 12-16-2013 by L.L. No. 2-2013. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
Section 20-2006 of the Village Law is hereby amended in its application to the Incorporated Village of Old Westbury to read as follows:
§ 20-2006. Violation of ordinances.

Unless otherwise specifically stated, the Board of Trustees of the Village may enforce obedience to its ordinances, including the Building Zone Ordinance, and local laws adopted prior to September 1, 1974, and to its local laws adopted thereafter, as follows:
(a)
By prescribing therefor fines for each violation not to exceed $10,000.
(b)
By prescribing therefor that each violation thereof shall constitute a separate violation pursuant to the Penal Law. However, in no case shall the fine imposed exceed $10,000 for each separate violation, and each day a violation is continued after written notice from the enforcement officer shall constitute a separate violation, so as to subject the violator to a fine of up to $10,000 for each separate violation, provided that a separate accusatory instrument is served and filed for each violation.
(c)
In all cases, the Board of Trustees may enforce obedience to its ordinances by injunction.
