Except as otherwise limited, the policy of said
Borough with respect to construction of curbing and sidewalk along
streets having a width of less than 16 feet and located in said Borough
shall be as follows:
A.
The hereinafter named streets having a width of less
than 16 feet along which there presently exists curbing and sidewalk
shall be maintained in their present condition, and owners abutting
such streets shall be required to maintain or construct such sidewalk
and curbing in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 615,[1] approved March 3, 1969, or other applicable ordinances
of the Borough.

shall remain uncurbed and property owners abutting such streets, for
reasons of public safety, shall not be permitted to install curbing
and sidewalk along said streets:

than 16 feet, along portions of which there is presently curbing and
sidewalk, will not be further curbed at the request of the Borough.
However, property owners abutting said streets will be permitted to
install curbs and sidewalks along the presently uncurbed portion of
such streets as they choose to do so.
