The purpose of this chapter is to regulate subdivision
and land development within the Township of Upper Gwynedd, Montgomery
County, Pennsylvania.
This chapter is enacted pursuant to the Pennsylvania
Municipalities Planning Code[1] and may be cited as the "Subdivision and Land Development
Ordinance of Upper Gwynedd Township."

A.
This chapter shall apply in the following circumstances:
(1)
To all subdivisions and land developments submitted
after the effective date of this chapter.
(2)
To all subdivisions and land developments previously
approved in accordance with any law or regulation then applicable,
the development of which has not been completed in accordance with
the terms of such approval within five years of the enactment of this
chapter.
