A. 
The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer, fire policeman or official traffic control device.
B. 
Wherever a space shall be marked off on any street for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle there parked shall be parked within the lines bounding such space.
C. 
Except where angle parking is authorized, every vehicle stopped, standing or parked upon a street where there are no adjacent curbs shall be so stopped, standing or parked parallel with the edge of the roadway headed in the direction of lawful traffic.
The parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times in those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule X (§ 160-44).
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule XI (§ 160-45) during the hours indicated.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule XII (§ 160-46) for a longer period of time than that designated during the hours indicated.
The standing of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule XIII (§ 160-47) during the hours indicated.
The stopping of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule XIV (§ 160-48) during the hours indicated.
No person shall park or drive or permit or suffer to be parked or driven or propelled any automobile, truck, motorcycle, moped, motorbike or any motor vehicle or any cart, wagon, trailer or ride any horse over any sidewalk or footpath, across any curbline or on or across any street shoulder or any public or private property alongside or adjacent to any public roadway except over a driveway established for that purpose and except where the same may be necessary to accommodate construction or repair work where no driveway has been established or is available, except in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
No driver of a vehicle shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XV (§ 160-49) attached to and made a part of this chapter, except at the angle designated and only within the painted lines.
The locations described in Schedule XVI (§ 160-50) are hereby designated as bus stops, and the parking or standing of vehicles other than buses is hereby prohibited in such locations.
The locations described in Schedule XVII (§ 160-51) are hereby designated as taxi stands, and the standing or parking of vehicles other than taxis is hereby prohibited in such locations. Taxis using such stands shall not be left unattended and shall be subject to all other vehicle and traffic regulations of the Village.
No owner or operator of any commercial motor vehicle, including a school bus, or of any motor vehicle bearing commercial license plates shall permit such vehicle to be parked upon any streets in the Village at any time on a Sunday. No such vehicle may be parked during the weekdays between the hour of 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on any street in the Village. None of the above applies to such vehicles when rendering emergency services.
Parking on any public street of the Village is prohibited between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. of any day.
