A. 
Sick days will be paid without specific limits. The criteria will be reasonableness, and the Trustees shall have full discretion in determining reasonableness.
B. 
Special situations, including extended absence, will be reviewed and determined by the Trustees based on circumstances.
C. 
Cases covered by any compensation programs will be administered in accordance with the applicable program.
Time off will be granted, with pay, in special circumstances with advance request of and consent by the village office.

All vacations are to be taken in the calendar year earned and are not cumulative. Highway employee vacations are to be taken between May 15 and October 15, except for special permission as authorized by the village office.

A. 
All employees are to be administered by the village office. Basic schedules, priorities and procedures will be as established by the Trustees. Operating departments will conform to these schedules and priorities and will comply with changes in direction from the village office. They will advise the office promptly of changes due to urgent or compelling circumstances.
B. 
Applications for vacations, compensatory time off, personal days, etc., are to be given to the village office and approved by the Clerk or the Mayor prior to the event.
The Highway Department employee who works Saturday morning and is on call for the weekend shall have the following Friday off.
A. 
The acquisition of a utility-type vehicle is proposed for use of key Highway/Water Department personnel for evening/weekend transportation on village business and for the Clerk's and other village employees' general use on village matters during the day.
B. 
There shall be no use of village equipment for any personal business unless authorized by the village office.
