Employees must not:
A. 
Report for duty or remain on duty while having a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.02% or higher;
B. 
Possess alcohol while on duty, or use or be under the influence of alcohol while performing safety-sensitive functions;
C. 
Perform any safety-sensitive function within four hours after using alcohol;
D. 
Use alcohol for eight hours following a DOT accident or until after such employee has undergone an alcohol test; or
E. 
Refuse to submit to a required alcohol test.
Employees must not engage in the following prohibited acts:
A. 
No driver shall report for duty or remain on duty when the driver uses any controlled substance, except when the use is pursuant to the instructions of a physician who has advised the town that the substance does not adversely affect the driver's ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.
