A parabolic satellite dish antenna greater than
18 inches in diameter or width shall be located only in the rear yard
of premises at ground level and shall not be located on top of any
building or structure.
A parabolic satellite dish antenna greater than
18 inches in diameter or width shall be effectively screened from
the view of neighboring premises and roads by screen planting or fencing
as approved by the Village Building Inspector in terms of size, type
and location. No freestanding parabolic satellite dish antenna shall
have an overall height, including any platform or structure upon which
said antenna is mounted or fixed, exceeding six feet, nor shall such
antenna exceed a diameter of three feet.
A parabolic satellite dish antenna shall meet
the approval of the Village Building Inspector and all manufacturers'
specifications, be noncombustible and made of a corrosive resistant
material, be erected in a secure, wind-resistant manner and be adequately
grounded for protection against a direct strike of lightning, all
as determined by the Village Building Inspector.
