The provisions of this article shall apply except
when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other
traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or
official traffic control device.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XII (§
225-44), attached to and made a part of this chapter.

A. No person
shall park a tractor-trailer combination or a truck, tow truck, or
van with a carrying or lifting capacity in excess of one ton, or a
truck with a plow blade installed thereon, on any residential street
of the Town except for deliveries, pickups or service calls. Parking
of a trailer, travel trailer, boat or other recreational vehicle along
residential streets is also prohibited.
B. In the
event the provisions of this article shall conflict with other provisions
in this chapter, the provisions herein shall supersede all others.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII (§
225-45), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§
225-46), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVI (§
225-48) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVII (§
225-49) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XVIII (§
225-50) at any time between the hours listed in said schedule of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said schedule, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIX (§
225-51) are hereby designated and declared to be emergency snow routes for the purpose of this section; it shall be unlawful to park or stand a motor vehicle, except for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers, upon any portion of an emergency snow route during the period of time the Town Superintendent of Highways has declared a snow emergency exists.

No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XX (§
225-52), attached to and made part of this chapter, except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.
The locations described in Schedule XXI (§
225-53), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones.

The locations described in Schedule XXII (§
225-54), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops. No person shall stand or park a vehicle at such bus stops.
