§ 40-1 Title.
This article shall be known as the "Personnel Authorized Payroll Deductions."
§ 40-2 Definitions.
As used in this article, the following terms shall mean:
- PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS
- Certain deductions as authorized by the town's personnel for insurance premiums, annuities and other types of town-approved deductions.
- PERSONNEL
- Those persons employed by the Town of Salina.
§ 40-3 Purpose.
The purposes of this article are to enable the town to make payroll
deductions as requested by its personnel for insurance premiums, annuities
and other types of deductions which the Town Board may hereafter and from
time to time approve and to remit such deductions to the respective insurance
company, agent, broker and/or other named administrator of any plan.
§ 40-4 Fees.
Authorized payroll deductions shall be made by the town at no charge
to its personnel.
§ 40-5 Exceptions.
Exceptions shall be as follows:

§ 40-6 Rules on file.
Personnel rules, including but not limited to hours of work, attendance
rules, holidays, leaves, disciplinary procedures, salary and pay periods,
appearance, probationary term, meeting the public, fringe benefits and work
rules, may be adopted from time to time by the Town Board. Such personnel
rules are on file in the office of the Town Clerk and with each department
head of the town.
