[Adopted 1-6-1983]
Claims shall be audited by the Town Board at
its first regular meeting of each month, and claims for said audit
shall be filed with the Town Clerk no later than the last day of the
preceding month. The proper appropriation code shall be given on each
claim by the department head or employee giving rise to the claim,
and said department head or employee shall certify to the correctness
of the voucher and services rendered by signing said claim. Highway
claims shall be filed no later than Wednesday 12:00 noon of the week
preceding the first regular Town Board meeting of each month. Claims
for fuel oil and electricity may be paid in advance of audit with
proper certification.
