Editor's Note: This local law also repealed former Art. XIV, Special exception uses in Business GB Disricts, as amended, which consisted of §§ 170-84 through 170-91.1.
A special exception use permit may be granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals, after a public hearing, for a gasoline service and filling station, with or without repair shop, provided that said station shall not be established within 1,000 feet of an existing gasoline service and filling station.  Such distance shall be determined by measurement of the shortest distance from any structure or area used by an existing gasoline service and filling station to such structure or area on the site of the proposed gasoline service and filling station. Said station shall also be limited in size so that no more than eight motor vehicles can be fueled at the same time.
