A. Short-term displays and/or sale, rent or lease of any
goods or merchandise shall hereafter only be conducted between the hours of
9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. by residents at their residence.
B. No outdoor display and/or sale, rent or lease of any goods or merchandise shall be permitted by any nonresident, unless said display and/or sale, rent or lease of any goods or merchandise is attached to or conducted from a building, as defined in §
136-4 of the Zoning Law, and unless said outdoor display and/or sale, rent or lease of any goods or merchandise is conducted within a district which allows same.
C. All displays and/or sale, rent or lease of any goods
or merchandise shall be removed from the resident's yard and removed
to an enclosed building after 7:00 p.m.
D. Residents, businesses, corporations, churches, schools,
fraternal organizations, fire departments and other groups desiring to display
and/or sell, rent or lease any goods or merchandise may apply to the Village
of Sylvan Beach for a permit to do so and, having shown good cause for said
permit, may be so licensed for a period of up to three days.
E. All residents, businesses, corporations, churches, schools,
fraternal organizations, fire departments and any other groups displaying
and/or selling, renting or leasing any goods or merchandise must provide adequate
off-street parking and must comply in all respects herewith.

A. A fee of $25 shall be collected equally from each permit
holder.
B. The Village Board may by resolution increase or decrease
the permit fee.
C. The Village Board may upon resolution waive the permit
fee for any village-sponsored lawn sales, the dates for which may be announced
annually by the Village Board.
All sections of this chapter shall also apply to nonprofit organizations,
except that the height restrictions, screening provisions, permits, fees and
time limits are waived.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be
guilty of a violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by
a fine not exceeding $250 for each offense or imprisonment not exceeding 15
days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
