The appointed members of the Planning Board,
Board of Zoning Appeals, and Board of Architectural Review shall each
serve for a term of five years, provided that no member may be appointed
to serve more than two consecutive five-year terms. Additionally,
no member of any such board shall be reappointed to such board unless
a period of two years shall have passed from the expiration of his
or her last term of office. If, however, the Board of Trustees is
unable to appoint a new member to any such board because of lack of
interest or any other reason, despite its best efforts to do so, the
Board of Trustees may, by its resolution, either:
A. Waive the ten-year term limit and reappoint a then-current
member to an additional five-year term; or
B. Waive the requirement for a two-year hiatus between
terms and appoint a former member whose term ended less than two years
prior thereto, to a new five-year term.
