In considering applications for subdivision of land, the Planning Board shall be guided by the standards set forth hereinafter. The said standards shall be considered to be minimum requirements and shall be waived by the Board only under circumstances set forth in Article
V hereof.
The following shall be general requirements
for the subdivision of land:
A. Character of land. Land to be subdivided for building
purposes shall be of such a character that it can be used safely without
danger to the residents from any menace.
B. Conformity to Official Map and Master Plan. Subdivisions
shall conform to the Official Map of the village, if such exists,
and shall be in harmony with the Master Plan.
C. Specifications for required improvements. All required
improvements shall conform to the village specifications, which may
be obtained from the Village Engineer.
