No person shall drive, operate, park or lease any mechanized vehicle
across or on any real property owned by the Town of Westfield or Town of Westfield
right-of-way where indicated in the Town of Westfield, Barcelona Beach area,
except authorized service vehicles.
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
Any device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may
be transported or drawn, which is propelled by any power other than muscular
power, except electrically-driven invalid chairs being operated or driven
by an invalid. The term "mechanized vehicle" includes by way of example, but
not by way of limitation, any motor vehicle as defined by § 125
of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, any minibike, motorcycle, motorized bicycle,
dune mobile, snowmobile, converted snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle, amphibious
vehicle or similar motorized device.
Any person who violates any provisions of this article shall be guilty
of a violation and shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not
exceeding $50 or, in default of payment of such fine, by imprisonment not
exceeding 30 days.
