The following described streets and avenues
shall be ordained and located as follows:
A. First Avenue and Church Avenue, the street heretofore
known as Chestnut Street, shall hereafter be known as First Avenue,
and the avenue heretofore known as Third Avenue shall hereafter be
known as Church Avenue and the above named streets and avenues shall
be so designated on the Borough Map.
B. Warren Avenue, the center line beginning in the center
of said Warren Avenue and First Avenue as ordained by this Council
on March 4, 1890, thence south 26 degrees 55 minutes east 1199.6 feet
to the center of an avenue hereafter to be known as Third Avenue.
The said avenue to be 50 feet wide including 10 feet sidewalks on
either side.
C. Channing Avenue, the center line beginning in the
center of First Avenue (formerly Chestnut Street) 363.8 feet eastward
from the center of Warren Avenue thence South 26 degrees 55 minutes
East 599.8 feet to the center of Second Avenue thence the same course
continued 600 feet to the center of Third Avenue, said avenue to be
50 feet wide including sidewalks of 10 feet on either side.
D. Woodland Avenue, the center line beginning in the
center of First Avenue (formerly Chestnut Street) 383.3 feet eastward
from the center of Channing Avenue, thence south 26 degrees 55 minutes
east 600 feet to the center of Second Avenue, thence the same course
continued 2185.65 feet to the north side of the State Road, said avenue
to be 50 feet wide including sidewalks of 10 feet on each side.
E. Church Avenue, the center line beginning in the center
of First Avenue (formerly Chestnut Street) 408.8 feet eastward from
the center of Woodland Avenue, thence South 26 degrees 55 minutes
east 600.25 feet to the center of Second Avenue thence the same course
continued 600 feet to the center of Third Avenue, said avenue to be
50 feet wide including sidewalks on each side of 10 feet.
F. Green Street, the center line beginning in the center
of First Avenue (formerly Chestnut Street) 197.9 feet eastward from
the center of Church Avenue, thence south 26 degrees 56 minutes east
600.4 feet to the center of Second Avenue, said street to be 30 feet
wide including a sidewalk on each side of 4 feet.
G. Ruthland Avenue, the center line beginning in the
center of First Avenue (formerly Chestnut Street) 303.8 feet eastward
from the center of Green Street, thence south 25 degrees 55 minutes
east 600.6 feet to the center of Second Avenue, thence south 26 degrees
55 minutes east, 600 feet to the center of Third Avenue, thence the
same course 2238.35 feet to the north side of the State Road, said
avenue to be 50 feet wide including the sidewalks on each side of
10 feet.
H. Second Avenue, the center line beginning on the center
of Warren Avenue 599.6 feet southward from the center of First Avenue
(formerly Chestnut Street) thence north 63 degrees 5 minutes east
363.8 feet to the center of Woodland Avenue, thence the same course
408.8 feet to the center of Church Avenue, thence the same course
198.95 feet to the center of Green Street, thence the same course
290.5 feet to the center of Ruthland Avenue, said avenue to be 50
feet wide including sidewalks on each side of 10 feet.
I. Third Avenue, the center line beginning in the center
of Warren Avenue 600 feet Southward from the center of Second Avenue,
thence north 63 degrees 5 minutes East 363.8 feet to the center of
Channing Avenue, thence the same course 383.3 feet to the center of
Woodland Avenue, thence the same course 489 feet to the center of
Ruthland Avenue, said avenue to be 50 feet wide including the sidewalks
on each side of 10 feet.
J. Width of Ruthland Avenue. It is further ordained that
that portion of Section 7 of the ordinance enacted March 4, 1890,
in regard to the width of Ruthland Avenue, between King Street and
First Avenue (formerly Chestnut Street) which read -- "Said Avenue
shall be 45 feet wide including sidewalks on either side 8 feet wide,"
be amended to read -- "Said Avenue shall be 50 feet wide including
the sidewalks on either side 10 feet side." The extra width of five
feet to be taken from the properties on the easterly side of said
street.

A234-2 of Chapter
A234 are established as the street system of the Borough.

New streets, whether public or private, whether
offered for dedication or not, shall be named only after consultation
with and approval by the Borough of Malvern Historical Commission
and the Chester County Department of Emergency Services. No street
shall be named on any subdivision or land development plan except
in compliance with this article.
