There shall be appointed annually at the reorganization
meeting a Borough Fire Manager/Chief who shall be a resident of the
Borough or a resident of a community with a contiguous border with
the Borough of Oaklyn and qualified member of the Fire Department.
The Borough Fire Manager shall present an annual
budget for the Oaklyn Fire Department and will submit financial reports
to the Director of Public Safety, will oversee and be responsible
for all appropriations to said Fire Department and will cosign all
Borough vouchers to authorize all expenditures in the engine room.

The Borough Fire Manager will, in an advisory
capacity, have input regarding the training of members, the locations
served by fire trucks and the frequency with which trucks go out and
will have advisory input on engine-room policy and regarding trucks
and other equipment belonging to the Borough.
