The practice of "hanging" or otherwise permitting dead animals, including deer and other game, to remain in outdoor areas such as yards is hereby prohibited for any period in excess of 24 hours.
A. 
The above restriction does not apply to animals that are subjected to taxidermy.
B. 
The above restriction does not apply to any such dead animal that is covered by a tarp or other device that renders it invisible to any neighbor, pedestrian or other individual who does not reside at the owner's address, provided that the dead animal does not remain for a period greater than seven days and does not attract vermin, rodents or other animals.
Any person who violates any provisions set forth above shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court, pay a fine of up to $500 for each offense and may be imprisoned up to 30 days for each offense.
