No applicant shall be considered for appointment
to the Police Department who:
A.
Lacks the established qualification requirements for
the position which he has applied or been tested.
B.
Is physically, mentally, or emotionally unfit to perform
effectively the duties of the position in which he seeks employment.
C.
Is addicted to the habitual use of drugs or intoxicating
liquors.
D.
Has been convicted of any indictable offense or has
been convicted of any crime or offense involving moral turpitude.
E.
Has been dismissed for cause from any governmental
service.
F.
Has made false statements of a material fact or has
practiced or attempted to practice any deception or fraud in his application,
in his test or in securing his eligibility for appointment.
