Editor's Note: Original Art. II, Park Avenue and South Maple Avenue, adopted 10-15-1974 as Ord. No. 74-22, was repealed 9-13-1982 by Ord. No. 82-19. Ordinance No. 87-15 also provided that all references to the South Maple Avenue Lot be deleted from Art. I, originally titled "Hawthorne Street and South Maple Avenue Lots."
The parking of vehicles in the municipal parking lot located at Municipal Hall, Park Avenue, is hereby regulated and limited as follows:
A. 
Parking shall be for the conduct of business with the Borough of Park Ridge, the utilization of the Park Ridge Free Public Library and the utilization of Memorial Field only. Parking for any other purpose is hereby prohibited. Overnight parking is prohibited.
B. 
Parking in areas and/or spaces marked as reserved for the Fire Department by other than members of the Fire Department, Police Department or Borough officials is hereby prohibited.
C. 
Parking in areas and/or spaces marked as reserved for the Police Department by other than members of the Police Department is hereby prohibited.
The Chiefs of the Police and Fire Departments are hereby authorized to cause to be prepared such regulations and the installation of such signs as reasonably may be required from time to time to carry out the intent and purpose of this article.

Every person who is found to violate any of the provisions of this article shall, upon the conviction of such violation, be liable to a penalty or fine not to exceed $500 for each separate offense or violation or imprisonment in the county jail for a term not to exceed 30 days, or both, at the discretion of the court.
