Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 192 of the Laws of 1960 (N.J.S.A. 40:68A-29 et seq.), known as the "Municipal Port Authorities Law" of the State of New Jersey, there is hereby created a public body corporate and politic under the name and style of the "Township of Pennsauken Municipal Port Authority."
The Township of Pennsauken Municipal Port Authority hereby created is a municipal port authority as contemplated and provided for by said Municipal Port Authorities Law, and shall have and exercise the powers and perform all of the duties provided for by said Municipal Port Authorities Law and any other statutes heretofore or hereafter enacted and applicable thereto.
The Township of Pennsauken Municipal Port Authority shall consist of five members to be known as "Commissioners," and said Commissioners shall be appointed by resolution of the Township Committee of the Township of Pennsauken in accordance with the provisions of said Municipal Port Authorities Law.
A. 
Upon the adoption of this article and the creation of the Township of Pennsauken Municipal Port Authority, the Township Clerk shall file a certified copy of this article in the office of the Secretary of State, in the office of the Division of Local Government in the Division of Local Finance in the Department of Community Affairs and in the Township of Pennsauken Clerk's office. The Township of Pennsauken shall also file any resolution appointing any members to the Township of Pennsauken Municipal Port Authority in the office of the Secretary of State.
B. 
A certified copy of this article shall be forwarded also to each authority, board, commission or other public body existing or established to exercise powers for port purposes in a port district or other district area, by or pursuant to an act of the Legislature of this state alone or in conjunction with the Legislature of another state, the district or area of operation of which includes in whole or in part the area of the port district created by virtue of adoption of this article.
