All food establishments and vehicles indicated in this code must first pass sanitary inspection by the Health Officer before a license or permit is issued.
The fees set forth in this article shall apply to those operations of the activities listed as are commonly defined as "retail" and "wholesale."
A. 
All of the fees required to be paid under the terms hereof are intended to be annual fees but, when paid, shall cover only the balance of the year during which the same are so paid or payable unless otherwise herein provided.
B. 
All license fees required herein shall be paid on or before January 15 of each calendar year, and all licenses issued shall exist for the period January 1 to December 31 of each year.
The annual fees for the licenses referred to in this chapter are hereby fixed as follows:

Private schools preparing and serving food on the premises (each): $15. These fees shall not apply to those organizations and institutions described and exempted in N.J.S.A. 26:3-3(1). Public and parochial schools preparing and serving food on the premises are exempt from fees.
I. 
Nonfood establishment license for selling candy, milk products or other foods or drinks: $25.

The fees enumerated herein shall not apply to agents, employees or officials of the Township of Pennsauken, in the County of Camden, New Jersey, acting for said Township of Pennsauken in their official capacity or to functions, operations or activities of said Township of Pennsauken.
