Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:56A-1 et seq. and amendments and supplements
thereof, there is hereby established in the Township of Wyckoff an Environmental
Commission, to be known as the "Wyckoff Environmental Commission."

The Environmental Commission shall consist of not less than five nor
more than seven members, to be appointed by the Mayor. The Mayor shall designate
one of the members to serve as Chairman and presiding officer. One member
shall also be a member of the Township of Wyckoff Planning Board, and all
members shall be residents of the Township. The term of office of the first
Commissioners shall be as provided by law, and all subsequent appointments
of members, except to fill vacancies, shall be for terms of three years as
provided by law. Members of said Commission shall serve without compensation.
The Environmental Commission shall have power to study and make recommendations
concerning open space and such other powers as provided by law.
The Township Committee may appropriate funds for the expenses incurred
by the Environmental Commission.
The Environmental Commission shall keep records of its meetings and
activities and shall make an annual report to the Township Committee.
